Freddie Luke : One

I have come to really love in home sessions. Especially, when it comes to kiddos who have birthdays during the coldest months of the year.

Of course we did snap a few outside and the cold seemed to bother his Mama and I more than it did Freddie. Kids, they’re so resilient.

It’s so much fun taking photos of the same families year after year. I remember taking all of big sister Piper’s photos in this very same house not long ago. So happy she tagged along to help assist me and get a few of her own taken.

Finn : 1st Haircut & 1st Birthday

Finally getting around to posting my nephew’s photos from his first haircut and birthday party. I feel so fortunate to have been apart of such a fun and eventful time for Sir Finn.

It was so nice to get to photograph this new little family. Theo was completely adorable and Samantha was so precious and good the entire time. Also who could have planned 60 degree weather in November?

Tessmer Fall Evening : 2016

Lifestyle sessions are such a favorite of mine. I love just blending in with the event and capturing those moments between family members that most people think are insignificant but when they see it in a photograph they realize just how sweet certain moments can be.

Day Family : 2016

I loved this location for my friends family photos the other weekend. The bare trees were a perfect background and playground for these boys to play around in and made for a perfect filter for the sunlight.

Another favorite family of mine! When you have 3 wild children of your own, you feel right at home photographing 3 adorable kiddos. I’ve been friends with Ashley for years and I’m so happy I finally got the chance to capture her lovely family.

Senior: Brian : Class of 2017

The most easy going client in the world, Brian. Seriously, such a dream he had some ideas of what he wanted and they were easily doable, which is great. He did everything that was asked of him and was so laid back the entire session. Made my job a breeze.

Vanderheiden Family : 2016

One of my all time favorite families to photograph! Carla and I decided to do a sunrise session out on her parents farm and it did not disappoint. I’ve been photographing Miss. Nora since she was in her Mama’s tummy and it’s so special for me to continue photographing her as she grows. She celebrated her 1st birthday this week and is only a few short weeks younger than my youngest, Nash.

I am keeping some holiday shots that we did off of social media until after the holidays so that we don’t ruin the surprise for their Christmas cards.

It was so special getting to take these cuties and their parent’s photos last weekend. I may have 3 children but I’ve never done 2 at once. It’s impressive how well these two handle Harper and Hudson.
